INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp coffee
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
INGREDIENTS FOR MILK SOAK:
- 1 cup milk
- 6 tbsp fresh cream
- 2 tbsp icing sugar
- 1 tbsp coffee
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
INGREDIENTS FOR GANACHE:
- 1 cup chopped chocolate
- 1/2 cup fresh cream
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (you can add almonds or walnuts also)
PROCEDURE:
- Step 1: In a bowl, add warm milk, vinegar and coffee powder and mix well.
- Step 2: Add sugar and oil until combined nicely
- Step 3: Add the dry ingredients including, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and all-purpose flour and whisk until well combined.
- Step 4: Pour the batter into a cake tin and microwave until 7-10 minutes.
PROCEDURE FOR MILK SOAK:
- Step 5: In a bowl add warm milk, cream, icing sugar, coffee and cocoa powder, whisk it until well combined.
- Step 6: Once the cake is done poke holes into cake and pour the milk over the cake and let it soak completely.
- Step 7: Refrigerate the cake for at least 15 minutes.
PROCEDURE FOR GANACHE:
- Step 8: In a pan add cream and heat it on medium flame.
- Step 9: Pour the hot cream on chopped chocolate and peanuts.
- Step 10: Add the ganache on top of the cake and spread evenly.
